Es el segundo libro que leo de este autor y no será el último, enganchan y entretienen. Tiene argumentos muy originales. El gran problema es la nefasta traducción. Lástima que las editoriales no presten atención algunos autores. ( )

The second book of the Robert Hunter series, and just as violent as the first. It seems like Chris Carter must take lessons from Stephen King to come up with some of his scenarios - they're pretty terrifying. This story fortifies an old theory of mine - if you want to make a villain more evil, just add in some good old time religion.

This book was very exciting, and hard to put down. My only disappointment was the introduction of psychic abilities from dreams to help solve the crime. I find that introducing this type of power in a serious story is a type of crutch in that it allows the author to solve any mystery by using the power that is not constrained by mere science or common sense. It's OK in a fantasy genre book, but a bit out of place in a serious mystery. But it's a minor quibble. I just pretend that it's possible, because... well, who knows what's possible? ( )

A bit grisly at times, but overall a good story, and quite a lot of action. Keeps moving along. Enjoyed it. ( )

If you guys aren't into gory novels then this book is definitely not recommended for you, for it's got so much gore within it that even the storyline and truly insane plot cannot erase it from your minds. However, if you by any chance are and you've read plenty of books which covered gore to a very large extent, then I truly see no problem for you and you should give this brilliant writer who goes by the name Chris Carter a shot, for when he brings his characters to life he truly brings them to life, with all the ups and downs and with all the flaws and perfections. He truly is amazing and the character of Robert Hunter he has created has a potential to grow immensely big in thriller novel community, for Robert's got all from a brilliant mind that's capable of solving the most difficult and the most craziest of crimes, and put true monsters behind bars. So give Chris and Robert a shot, if you're into gore, and are searching for that truly insanely and brilliantly smart detective that's capable of connecting the craziest dots and truly insane writer who knows how to surprise with the most brilliant of twists. And let me finish by saying that this book has got quite a twist. ( )

Chris Carter has become my new favorite serial killer author. In this book, our next serial killer is seeking revenge, making his victims die by the way they fear the most. He also does not do this kindly, instead he makes them face their fears and suffer tremendously while they die. Once again, lots of actions, twists and some really amazing crime scenes. Carter is a very creative author writing some of the creepiest and scariest books I have ever read. I can't wait for the next one. ( )
