In this wordless picture book a bird flies through a museum and uses their imagination to fly with dinosaurs. I would give this book to 2nd to 4th graders to practice writing with personification or creative writing. I could also use it in the classroom to talk about history or science with dinosaurs. ( ) This book would be a fun read aloud for primary aged students. This book is about a bird that is flying through a museum, and it imagines that the dinosaurs in the museum are coming to life and it tries to survive in the imaginative world. I would use this book as a wordless book read aloud with my students to help them use their inference skills to create their own words for the wordless book using only the pictures provided. The pictures are very vibrant and tell a rich story that students would have the opportunity to make their own. This book is good for both primary and intermediate aged children due to the stunning imagery and the lack of words, which allows students to tell the story in their own words. The story personifies the dinosaur skeletons in a museum and shows their history and habitat. Children who love dinosaurs, adventures, and the natural world will adore this story. An active imagination will allow children to enter the dreamlike reality portrayed through the illustrations. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
