Overall the book was an enjoyable historical romance. Caroline was born in England but raised in America by her Aunt and Uncle. She is sent there under mysterious circumstances that are revealed at the end. When she finally returns to England and her father she causes a stir among the men and meets up with the Duke of Bradford who cannot get enough of her. The main characters don't agree on a woman's place in relationships which causes many arguments. The Duke is obsessively jealous which is also not explained until the end. I enjoyed the humor and the relationship between Caroline and the Duke's best friend (Milford). A light read and enjoyable. I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would, although the hero needs to be brought down a peg, he's a bit too high and mighty. http://ktleyed.blogspot.com/2009/09/rebellious-desire-by-julie-garwood.html geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
