Review: This book is a good example of fantasy because a little girl wants to be like a fairy godmother so she makes her dog into a superstar. She dresses her dog to look like a human and the dog becomes famous based on her unique voice. This is a cute story that resembles the fairytale, Cinderella.
Media: This is a good example of ink and wash because the ink is used to create the painting and is filled with watercolor wash. The lines are clean and the wash is blended well together. The vivid pictures allow readers to connect with the story.
Characterization: The little girl is a round character because she enjoys having a dog that is famous but soon realizes that she misses playing with her. After some time, she becomes sad that her dog is a rock star. Thankfully, Rufferella becomes a real dog again and the little girl is happy and says she won't turn her dog into a rock star ever again.
