This has something that is invaluable for a large, sprawling novel: a list of characters. I enjoy reading Cliff Notes with a book; they give me a different perspective on the book without being unduly long or jargon-ridden. In this case, I had actually read the book several years ago, but only recentky saw the movie. This was perfect for refreshing my memory as to original story versus the one in the movie script. And of course, it evoked my memories of the actual book. ( )
