More excellent adventures from Lewis. If you enjoyed the first three books of the series, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one. Even with the clouded mind I finished the book, I guessed that the knight was Rilian. It was just right there in front of your face if you don’t guess right. The Caspian in the real world was a twist I did not see coming. An interesting story

On this reread i was supposed to read them in publication order but messed up and accidently skipped Voyage of the Dawn Treader (i’ll get to it later). Not sure if that mistake improved this read but it certainly didn’t do it any harm.
There are a few unoriginal elements but overall quite good characters and incidents. Not sure i’d give it 4-stars on its own but i’m grading on a curve against the other Narnia books.
I also wonder if this is the main inspiration point for the Fantastic Four villian the
