Basically, I would guess that if you're in tune with something like Richard Carlson's stuff ("Don't Sweat the Small Stuff"), then you probably won't find anything in the book to really deter you. It is true that Thich Nhat Hanh uses language in an interesting way, but although there's a certain sort of unique Buddhist language, it's not terminology-heavy or concept-heavy. It's like listening to someone talk who's from a different country, and their speech has a soft accent, which doesn't impede understanding, although it lends to what they say, a different color.
