I finished this but it was bloody hard. I can't believe it's only 100 pages. It felt like 5million. It's dense and dark and gritty and I thought I'd like it but I just didn't. I hated Atlanta. The ending just sucked. The plot was a mess. I don't know how I finished because the whole time reading I wanted to stop. I didn't even find it well written. And I bought the omnibus but I can't face reading Bait Dog. So this ends here. I'm out. ( )

It takes a little time to light the fuse, but it's all worth it. Atlanta Burns is done with bullies and deals with them and worse in this fine novella. Dark but marbled with humor, this classic revenge tale amps up the tension and sets us up for a great series. It's got meat to it, and kept me busy through a few lunch hours. It tells a good tale and gets us ready for more. Wendig knows how it's done.
All you need for a story is a girl and a gun... and here you get a whole lot more. ( )
