A very good nonfiction book that includes the steps about how a baby is born in a parent's household. Cole does a good job of explaining the biological aspects of being born but not quite emotional. If Coleman does an extension to the book by talking more about the emotional aspect of a baby being born then, it will add to the book's value into a more comprehensive version. I think this book is an asset to have in the children's library, although I am unsure how many kids will read it. A K-3 reader book. ( )

Why look at all those smiling faces! Everyone is so happy to have a baby. They avoid the whole sex issue and just deal with the baby. And they have all those wonderful real pictures. I like that.
