I have read the "Dark" series since I found "Dark Prince more years ago than I care to remember. When the "Ghost Walker" series came out, I tried the first one and just couldn't read it. I picked them up a few years later and found I loved them. Senior moment I guess. This one didn't have the same excitement for me as the others. I'm not a prude, but it seemed there was more sex and less story than in any of the others. Overall, I really liked the book because of the past characters that appeared though out it. I originally skipped this title in the series because I really didn't enjoy the one before it (Street Game). Truthfully I was getting sick of more and more new characters being introduced when all I really wanted was to hear the stories of the original two teams. This book was exactly what I wanted out of this series: for once the heroine is as kick-ass as she should be, and the story returns to the original team. Plus there was action in the over-arching Whitney / conspiracy plot. More like this please Christine Feehan! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

"In an underground club, a high-ranking public official spends his secret nights indulging in fantasies as exciting as they are depraved. For a seductive employee of the Dungeon, it's her job to fulfill them. But she's playing a far more dangerous game-one of blackmail, politics, and murder that reaches into the shadow world of the GhostWalkers, and the creation of a spectacular, one-of-a-kind new weapon of defense. But when a dictator makes his own catastrophic moves, the GhostWalkers have no choice but to bring in two major players-a man and woman both driven by passion and revenge. Both expendable. Both with nothing left to lose."--P. [4] of cover. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
