This book is great for young children who have the habit of lying. This book reads like a self help book and draws a clear distinction between a lie and a fun story. ALL Parents need this book! ( ) This book was written for a very young audience. It explains what lying means and why you should not do it. I think it has a good message, but it good be written a little more challenging. Since lying is a problem for a variety of ages, it would probably appeal to more audiences if it was not so kiddish. Summary - Lying isn't good. When you lie you have to keep coming up with more and more lies to cover the first lie. Trust is the key to building a healthy relationship with another person. When you lie, you are labeled as a liar. Personal reaction -For example, If you tell your mom that you don't feel good when really you feel fine then not only are you lying but the next time you are actually sick she's not going to believe you. Classroom Extension Ideas - 1. Show what happens when you lie. 2. Reward when you tell the truth. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
