Che dire? Adorabile! Ci sono meno colpi di scena e caos rispetto al primo libro e il clima è più rilassato ma è comunque molto interessante, l'ho trovato piú maturo e un po' più realistico decidendo di dare spazio più ai rapporti familiari rispetto ai drama da telenovela. Compare in scena la dolcissima e simpatica Hayley, la figlia di 8 anni di Riley e.. L'ho adorata! È una bambina dolcissima e nonostante abbia perso la madre è forte come una piccola leonessa, molto matura per la sua età e super sveglia ed intelligente. Ho adorato vedere Riley nei panni del papà e trovarlo così goffo e pieno di ansie mi ha intenerito, dolcissimo pure Jack che si è rivelato nuovamente un marito perfetto e disponibile, pronto a tutto pur di prendersi cura della sua famiglia. Una storia che continua ad essere intrigante e coinvolgente e che ha tutte le carte in regola per continuare a stupire i lettori con nuovi colpi scena ed intrighi. Sono inoltre curiosissima di scoprire di più sulla new entry del gruppo, il bel surfista Sean, mi sembra un personaggio interessante, sono curiosa di scoprire qualcosa in più sul suo passato e lavoro a contatto con i cavalli e spero di vederlo presto alle prese con Eden, la sorella di Riley che con la sua dolcezza... merita un brav'uomo e una dolce storia d'amore ❤️ consigliato ❤️ ( )

Riley hoped that he was free from any further harm his family could cause him when his brother died. But the FBI isn't so willing to ignore the things that Riley's brother did...things that could put the family business and name on the line. But thankfully for Riley, he has Jack and Jack's supportive family to help him get through it all. The start of a marriage for any couple can be challenging, but with all of these added complications, can Jack and Riley find a way to make it work?

This is an interesting glimpse into how Riley and Jack work to find their way forward after the incredibly unorthodox way they came together in the first place. You don't need to have read the first book to follow this story, but it is my impression that it would help considerably in just having context of some of the references to previous events. It is entertaining, engaging, and at few points even suspenseful. I do find myself looking forward to finding out what happens in the next book, which is currently loaded on my Kindle and ready to go. ( )

Better than the first book, maybe because I knew what to expect in terms of soap-opera-ishness xD ( )

Lots of drama but you also see the strength of their relationship and how they can weather what comes their way and continue to get stronger. ( )
