If only there were more people who could draw dragons like this. ( ) This is another adorable book in the "Dragonology" series; this one is about raising baby dragons, either from an egg, or an orphaned chick. Lots of good advice about taking care of your baby dragon, plus the different types of dragons which can be raised. I disagree about a few points (some dragons can be kept beyond five years), but mostly, he's right on target with his suggestions. The illustrations are, as always, gorgeous. My son and I enjoyed reading this together. I don't think this book is available in the U.S. yet; I ordered this copy from amazon.co.uk. A cute book written as if you were a Hagrid type and wanted to raise a baby dragon. Good for kids, but the pictures let it down. They're not as pretty as I would have hoped. We have another children's dragon book which is word-wise very smiliar but the pictures and features (pull up tabs and envelopes and things) are much better. This book is cute and it was free so I won't knock it but if you want to buy this type go for the bigger sexier version. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
