The Delphi Chronicle trilogy is an intelligently-written, breakneck-paced rollercoaster of a conspiracy thriller that raises uncomfortable questions about our government, the war on drugs, and the history of the American involvement in Central America. Michael Derrigan is an ex-Navy SEAL operating a boutique private security firm in New York, who unwittingly becomes immersed in a complex conspiracy when he agrees to help out a friend - an aged literary agent who has received a mystifying manuscript whose contents could change the world order. As nefarious factions fight to keep the secrets of the past buried, Derrigan must run for his life in an international chase where nobody can be trusted and nothing is as it seems. Fans of Robert Ludlum and John Grisham will find The Delphi Chronicle a riveting read sure to delight even the most jaded connoisseur of the genre.… (meer)

This is a great book. It grabbed me from page one, taking me on a roller coaster ride until the end of the book. ( )

Note: Please read my review of book one, "The Manuscript" before reading this review.

Ron Paul disciples will be fans of "The Delphi Chronicles" books two and three. What started out as a good read in "The Manuscript," got progressively worse.

Michael uses his PI background and skills as a SEAL to evade those who are killing everyone who may have read the manuscript. But as the books progress, we find out that the manuscript is written by a former CIA guy who ran drugs for the US, helped supply arms to terrorists, etc. all in the name of keeping wars going and politicians elected.

Throughout the whole thing, we keep hearing from a guy named Sid who's coordinating the team meant to silence anyone trying to leak the contents of the manuscript. We have no idea who he is, what is role had been, or anything. Even at the very end we don't. And what a crappy end! Please, please don't waste your time! ( )
