What started out as a good read in "The Manuscript," got progressively worse. Michael uses his PI background and skills as a SEAL to evade those who are killing everyone who may have read the manuscript. But as the books progress, we find out that the manuscript is written by a former CIA guy who ran drugs for the US, helped supply arms to terrorists, etc. all in the name of keeping wars going and politicians elected. Throughout the whole thing, we keep hearing from a guy named Sid who's coordinating the team meant to silence anyone trying to leak the contents of the manuscript. We have no idea who he is, what is role had been, or anything. Even at the very end we don't. And what a crappy end! Please, please don't waste your time!
