Review of books 2 -5 is on my blog: http://www.susanhatedliterature.net/2012/01/wool-series-2-5/ This is a truly great series. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would want to see a couple of movies made out of these stories. I really want to see what he writes later! Update: On the second read, I find myself wanting the real continuation of this storyline, and not the prequels that come after. Sigh. I feel like a petulant child sometimes. :) Good books, and quite fun. SPOILER FREE I dont think i will be reading the rest of the series anytime soon. This just dragged on and on. It would he been better if we saw some character development in place of those filler paragraphs that described a damn pipe in its fullest details. Remove all the filler, and it goes back to being a short story. To which Howey should have stuck to. He has good ideas, and a great world to work with, but he seems to be degrading the quality. Dont worry about reading every word. You can literally skim through the pages, and still end up understanding it. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
