Romantic comedy occasioned by switching twins and a fake engagement. Totally predictable but cute. ( )

Twins Marci and Kimberly may look exactly alike, but the similarities end there. Marci, a waitress, is the wild and spontaneous twin who enjoys wearing revealing clothes and flirting with her male customers. Kimberly is shy and reserved, choosing to spend her time as the director of a children's center. One weekend Marci calls Kimberly and begs her to take her place as a customer's "pretend fiancee" for the weekend. He's paying her $2000 to attend the wedding with him. Kimberly reluctantly agrees, feeling the money will be put to good use at the center.

The minute Kimberly steps into his car, Austin is taken aback by the flashy, flirty waitress who now looks stunning and classy. Kimberly is surprised her twin is missing the chance to spend the weekend with a hunk like Austin. Knowing he's expecting her wild and crazy twin, Kimberly decides to try to live a little on the wild side and enjoy the weekend with the sexy architect. As the weekend continues, Kimberly and Austin both struggle to remember this is only a game and that they aren't really in love...are they?

This book is so fun and entertaining. The author blends the right amounts of fun/awkward situations, sexual tension, steamy scenes, and tender, romantic moments. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. It's a great, light romantic read. ( )
