But for the majority of the whole book, it's a decent travel guide. The only area I haven't made it to yet is the westernmost area of the UP- hopefully I'll make it to the Porkies soon!
ETA on 2021 reread: I've now been to the Porkies, and I noticed this time that the map of Mackinac Island on page 32 has a couple of errors: there isn't a Murdick's Fudge or Island House located in the middle of the Island near the airport. ( )
