On a zoology expedition up the Amazon, Professor Challenger has made an inexplicable discovery. Back in London, his claims are ridiculed throughout the professional community. Reluctantly, he recounts to Journalist Edward Malone, "Curupuri is the spirit of the woods, something terrible, something malevolent, something to be avoided. The Lost World is an exciting adventure story.
This story is featuring wonderfully characters that search out the answers to a great scientific mystery deep in the Amazon jungle.
Malone,Challenger,Summerlee and Roxton went to Amazone to find the lost world.
They could find and there were a lot of wonderful things.
But there were also many dangerous creatures.
The novel is among the last written before World War I

I think this story is exciting, I like this story.

This story is really exciting!! While reading the book, my heart was beating fast. If there was a place like the Lost World, I would want ro visit there because I'm interested in ancient animals and plants.
This book gives a vivid description of dinosaurs, so I was able to image their appearances easely. And characters are also good, especially I like Lord John Roxton, because he is very brave. After reading this book, I wanted to go an adventure. ( )
