This may be the most important and topical book I have ever read, given the current state of our country. I remember first stumbling upon these topics during a tiring evolution controversy back in Kansas - I corrected someone that said, as part of an argument against the State Board of Education removing evolution from the science standards, that they 'believed' in evolution. I begged them to leave belief out of it, as evolution like gravity doesn't honor belief. It is a physical description of the way the world works. Though now dated (the book leaves off during the summer of 2012, and covers the Tea Party shellacking of the Democrats), had HRC followed the advice here no doubt a few states would have tipped. Those moved by data and policy were never going to vote for *Pres Trump, but HRC and nearly every other Dem - Warren comes close - fails to anchor arguments in moral space. Must read. ( )

Only because the subject didn't interest me that much, being non-American, rather than not agreeing to what's expressed in the book. ( )
