This book is filled with romance, mystery, and intrigue. Great new characters and wonderful old characters from previous books. There is plenty of humor and shenanigans going on in the lovely town of Edilean filled with wonderful people. I always devour everything Jude Deveraux writes and Moonlight Masquerade is no exception. The romance between Sophie and Reede is a really great story. ( )

I have not had a chance to read the other two books in this series. I didn't find that I had any problem following along though so I think Jude Deveraux did a find job of making this series book a stand alone.

I really enjoyed reading the story of Sophie Kincaid and her mysterious Dr. Reede Aldredge. I loved Sophie's wit, strength, and sense of responsibility. She took on the job of raising her younger sister and put her life on hold. Now she is for the first time in her life trying to put herself first. Now she just has to figure out for sure what she wants.

Dr. Reed Aldredge has had his heart broken in the past. He really doesn't want to be a doctor in his small home town but he has agreed. He won't go back on his promise no mater what he wants. However this situation has made him a very cranky fellow, until he meets Sophie.

Sophie and Reed's story is full of laughter and romance. These two have a lot to over come to make it to their happily ever after. I really enjoyed their story.

If you are a fun of Ms. Deveraux I think you will love this book. If you are looking for a humorous romance I think you would also enjoy this book. I know I did. ( )
