This story is about a young man who is living his life in an awkward predicament but tries to have the standards in which his grandfather does. With parents who are both homosexuals, Angus has problems steaming from all sides. Another interesting fact that is part of his problem is family obesity. Many children are facing this problem
Within this story, teachers can teach others how it feels to be different or live life with a better outlook on things. This story can be used as a motivational tool to show that all bullies are not bullying to be meant but to defend themselves. One must look at the child’s lifestyle, if they are bullying, to see where it originated from.
I, myself, was considered a bully. I can relate to Angus in the fact of family obesity, but the gay parent is something other children may face. The advice that the grandfather was giving sounded a lot like the advice my family gave me. My life story is the reason why I act the way that I do. Being fluffy and smart are keys to being picked on for many, but I act crazy every day so many people do not believe that I am as smart as I have proven time after time. I am just not a good dancer like Angus. ( )
