It talks about their culture and how they live. I would use this book during Native American week. This would be one book I would use to talk about the many tribes of America. This book would be suited for a 5th or 6th grade class The book One Nation, Many Tribes is about a family that lives on a Indian Community. It talks about how the kids live and it talks about there dancing and how the kids get teased by people and how they really are not like they think. It talks about Indians in Wisconsin. It has information about the Ojibwa Indian tribe’s history. It has pictures of the way that the kids live and the houses they live and old houses that are in the community. I liked that the book show how the kids live and how even if they are different they still live just like we do. I like that they show pictures of different things that they have made and pictures of there ceremonial dancing outfit. This book would be a great way for kids to see how the kids that still do the Indian things are just like them. The book would be a great way for teachers have kids use the book to learn about history of Ojibwa tribe. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
