For me the author's style is too simple and at times choppy, a problem because I tend to read faster. In this case I doubt I missed anything. It's just not that complex a plot. My favorite part is how Leander's power works. (

1st story. Excellent introduction to the characters and their situation under the guise of a cold case. I like Leander, the 22 yr old psychic. But it is Jon, our prickly narrator, so desperate to protect his heart from this bright young thing, that really appeals.

2nd story. Here we get a bit more of Jon's backstory. And Jon opens his heart a crack. The mystery takes more of a back seat in this to the characters. (

A fun paranormal mystery slash romance from the POV of Jon, a man who decided to avoid all attachments to other people to avoid getting hurt, and his psychic roommate Leander who is just the right kind of person to melt Jon's resolve.
This was a re-read for me, and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. The story is totally angst-free and light, but keeps your attention and has you wanting more. (
