In this third volume of Titan Books' collected editions of the Topps Comics series, Agents Mulder and Scully star in three stories that examine man's inhumanity to man. In the first, they challenge the Comte de Saint Germain, an immortal who kills the elderly in order to perfect the elixir of life. The second pits the agents against a character based on General Zaroff from Richard Connell's "The Most Dangerous Game," but with bigfoot thrown in for good measure. Finally, in the third story, Mulder and Scully must discover if two murders in Puerto Rico are the work of humans or the chupacabra. The stories, like those in Titan Books' other volumes, are entertaining, but this volume is shorter than the rest, both in size and length. The other volumes contain four or more stories compared to this one's three and this book is about two inches smaller in height than the rest. Being third in the series, its size discrepancy makes it look out of place on a bookshelf. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
