Warren has a great cadence with his works and keeps you thinking that you’ll know the ending… but you’d be wrong!

I think he is a master of short fiction and this book is no different. Entertaining, visual, and slightly absurd. (

Gotta say, there isn't a hell of a lot Ellis writes that I don't like. I loved this. It's everything you'd expect from Ellis: gross, irreverent, and well-written.

It also introduces a neat little love story, something I would never have expected from the author.

Loved it. And, being a Canadian, I appreciate what he stated about Canadians in the story. He ain't wrong. We're monsters. (

Downbeat but enjoyable story of a hitman/body disposal expert whose current job in LA turns out to be a bit unusual. Gruesome, fairly unbelievable, and a bit inevitable, perhaps, but well written. Will Wheaton's audiobook narration is excellent. (
