The next few paragraphs will have lots of good natured rating and twelve-year-old like fangirling. Here's me apologizing ahead of time, guys.

Todd: Oh, Todd, please get your shit together and stop putting your sister into positions where she's liable to lose her job or get arrested. I mean, you say you love her, but begging her to steal back something YOU lost at the cost of her job and possible jail time doesn't sound like something a loving brother would do. I have two little brothers. One brings me chocolate and one annoys the crap out of me, but not even he would put me in this kind of position.

Emma: I don't understand why you don't just ask Joshua to please return the watch, or at least work off a compromise. From what I learned about Joshua, he doesn't seem like an ogre. Why doesn't anybody in this story know how to use their words?!

Joshua: As much as I liked this guy, he had some faults too. While he was planning out his masquerade, he was flirting pretty heavily with Emma. Then at the party, he met a pretty lady and decided he just had to have her (okay, it was Emma, but he didn't know!). What follows afterwards is what I like to call karma. :D

Now after all that character bashing, I'm sure you're all wondering, "Um, if you hated it so much, why five stars?" I didn't hate it at all! The characters ARE pretty twisted (read the title!), but that's what made it interesting. I seriously could not wait to see what the characters screwed up next, and if they could fix it. It's almost like the Kardashions, but with way more plot and a lot less shame. And sex tapes.

To warn you guys, there is no sex in the first installment of this series, but never fear! I've been told by Ms. Early that the next few books are way spicer. This is one of my favorite books now. I can't stress how much I recommend this series, guys. If you like a contemporary romance with adventure mixed in, plot twists and sexy billionaires, you'll definitely like this book. Seriously, buy this book! It's only $.99 and completely worth it.

I was just getting into this when I saw how far through I was and realised it was going to be a cliff-hanger ending of what's-going-to-happen-next? I'm not always a big fan of these therefore I'm giving it three stars. ( )
