I have to admit, I've only ever tried Egg Drop Soup before as far as Chinese soups go. However, after reading this cookbook, I think that I need to broaden my horizons a bit. The soups sound extremely easy to make and most of them piqued my interest (the ones that didn't just weren't my style to begin with). ( )

There is something here for everyone. I can't wait for colder weather to enjoy them all. There is a soup for every different taste. I really enjoyed the Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup. The only problem with reading the recipes is that they are written using grams and liters instead of teaspoons and cups.

Lots of good recipes and all are quick and easy to make. I've tried a few and I am really impressed at the simplicity of them and the rich flavors they give off. ( )

Metric measurements. Fairly basic ingredients. Small number per recipe. Several call for a packet of chicken bones. Not a product in my local grocery. ( )

The recipes are clear and appear to be easy to follow. Most of the soups sound delicious. I will add to the review when we hit soup weather. To be honest, when it is over 100 degrees with the humidity making soup is not on the agenda. ( )
