This was a wonderful book! It had just the right amount of romance, family and mystery and even had a touching ending. I loved it! ( )

The "Key to Love" is an entertaining romantic mystery. The characters are likeable and well-drawn and the voice of the youngster, Todd, adds humor to the story. The dialogue is well-written and the settings come to life as described.

If you enjoy an engrossing, entertaining romantic mystery, add this book to your list to read! ( )

A Good Read That Keeps You Guessing!

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I loved this story. The title, Key To Love, is definitely a title that suggests romance but this book is so much more than just romantic love. This is a fast paced can’t put it down kind of book.

I liked the main characters Elise Springer and Lucas Fisher….but I simply fell in love with 4 year old Todd Fisher, Lucas Fisher’s Nephew. This little one will quickly wrap you around his little finger and tug at the strings of your heart. Likeable, loveable and oh so adorable.

Elise Springer is back in Scranton, her hometown, to care for her injured father. Lucas is back in Scranton to set up a business of restoring classic cars and to find out exactly how his brother died.

Elise is surprised to find that Lucas is back in town. He practically grew up in their home being friends with her brothers Fritz and Thomas. As the story progresses one can’t deny the attraction between the two of them. Will Elise walk away and go back to San Francisco where her life and job is?

What about Lucas? What does Elise mean to him? Will he let Elise walk out of his life; and
will he solve the mystery behind his brother’s death?

Be prepared to smile a lot, laugh out loud, and perhaps shed a tear or two.

This story is deserving of a 5 star rating and that is what I am giving it. However, the language in this book made me cringe a time or two. I wasn’t thrilled that God’s name was abused a handful of times.

I won this book on LibraryThing and would like to thank author Judy Ann Davis for selecting me as one of the reader/reviewers of this book. The opinions expressed are mine alone. ( )
