Op dit moment geen Discussie gesprekken over dit boek. this series was recommended to me by one of my friends, and it was pretty good. I liked the character development and the setting and the plot, and I really felt with the characters and what they were going through. the ending was good and sappy too. loved the way the author wrote it, and I was hanging on to every word. great read Great final book in the trilogy which made me cry as I had become so attached to the characters. The 14 are now down to 13 and Josie is trapped in a concentration camp like setting for the O-positives with the ancient benefactor Mario from book 2. There she meets a whole new set of children who, when exposed to clouds of the nerve gas toxins, turn into psychotic beasts. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

First they discover that Josie is alive but being held in a brutal prison-like camp in Missouri, then they learn that pregnant females are being taken for medical testing. Dean, Jake, Nico and Astrid decide to leave and rescue Josie and find a safe place for Astrid’s baby to be born. The narration of the story is divided between Josie and the violence and danger she is involved in and, Dean, as he tells how the small group is trying to reach Josie and bring both the girls to safety.
Savage Drift was a satisfying end to the trilogy. While there isn’t a lot of character development, it is a fast-paced, action packed thriller. The characters, especially Dean and Jake could really get on one’s nerves but the book did tackle some interesting issues like teen pregnancy and substance abuse and the characters were racially diverse.
