It's a sweet romance with a little action and some humor. David and Tammy, both work for the Special Forces Golden Claw, but in different branches. They know each other through their families and are both introduced to us in [b:Jaguar Fever|15942615|Jaguar Fever (Heart of the Jaguar, #2)|Terry Spear|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1349542465s/15942615.jpg|21693835]. Tammy does not like to work with other agents and David does not mind working with others. I liked both David and Tammy. David surprised me a little. I thought he was the love'n and leave'n type, but he just has bad luck with picking a women who complements him. Tammy, well she is a capable, strong, and an independent women, who needs someone too see her as that. I enjoyed that David was protective, but also saw Tammy as a strong and capable person. I liked their partnership/relationship growth throughout the book. They worked well together as a team, respecting each other, and they came to form a relationship that worked. We get some good plot developments in locating the zoo cat, as well as a few surprises. I enjoyed the mischievous teen boys and how David and Tammy where able to get them to trust them to an extent. I did kinda miss seeing previous characters from the books, like Tammy’s bothers, David’s brother, and the Anderson’s. I missed having that character connection. All around Jaguar Hunt was a fun adventure; with the mischievous teens, locating the missing cat, and the relationship developing between David and Tammy. Ms. Spears knows how to create a fun world full of sexy interesting shifters with the right amount of suspense, action, and romance. I adore Ms. Spear work and will always re-read one of them. David was such a great character. I absolutely loved him when he was introduced in the previous book. Where his brother, Wade, was a serious guy intent on doing his job and protecting his lady love, David seemed to joke his way through the book. And that definitely kept up in this book. He was still doing his job and working well with both Tammy and the twins, he could still laugh at himself. I think Tammy balanced him out pretty well. I got a little confused in some parts, but I think it was just that I was reading a little too fast trying to see what would happen next. Hopefully, the twins will get their own books in the future cause they were just as entertaining as David. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Jaguar Hunt (Heart of the Jaguar #3) by Terry Spear Jaguar-shifter David Patterson, is a Special Forces Golden Claw JAG agent. He was assigned the task of tracking two teenage shifters, later discovering they have information about another case involving a jaguar that was stolen from the zoo. Colleague and jaguar-shifter in the Enforcer unit, Tammy Anderson, is not happy to be assigned a new partner to help her find a missing zoo cat. They wind up following the teens to Belize on what is supposed to be an easy mission. David is a great hero. I love that he treats Tammy as an equal and does not belittle her. He is sure of himself and has a considerable personality. He’s a great guy; I felt bad that he had some crazy girlfriends in the past. Tammy is impressive. I loved that she would ditch her partners when she felt they depreciated her. She is a strong heroin that can definitely take care of herself. The two make a fun couple that I wouldn’t want to mess with if I was a bad guy. I enjoyed the teens. Their pranks added humor to the story. They were definitely clever, and I can see why the JAG unit would be interested in recruiting them. I love that this book is set in Belize. It is one of my favorite vacation spots. Ironically enough, I read this book on my anniversary. We went to Belize on our honeymoon so the timing was appropriate. I could easily visualize their hotel and the jungle scenes. One of my favorite things about the country is that it is not overdeveloped, and the rainforest is plentiful; A great place for jaguar shifters. It is a beautiful nation and the perfect setting for this novel. Jaguar Hunt is an action pact book with a praiseworthy plot. There were a lot of mystery and excitement, and everything was written in a believable manner. I enjoyed all the characters. Terry Spear did a great job with the character development and plot. In addition, her writing style is noteworthy. Complimentary copy provided by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

As usual an A !!!!
I don't think I've ever been let down by one of Terry Spears shifter books. both the wolf and jaguar shifter books are great reads. I lived the fact poor beleaguered zoo guy Henry Thompson showed up again. at some point he really should be clued in. I wonder if at some point in time he may marry a shifter? great mystery and hijinx ensue in this fun filled romp. twists and turns a plenty. I really enjoy hearing of characters from previous tales. this book especially has a drop your jaw shocker about a couple of past characters and who they really are. It works out great. I can't wait for the next jaguar book. I already have the newest wolf shifter book (Hero of a Highland Wolf) lined up to read. also psyched about her Christmas wolf shifter book coming out I think in October? I highly recommend this title and all the shifter books. they're great reads with lots of action, suspense, mystery and romance. ( )
