The author used many different "noises" in this book. Each topic that was described had some type of noise or onomatopoeia to go along with it. I think the noises enhanced the book and made it more interesting and fun to read. I enjoyed reading this book and I would use it in the classroom to show children that we can write and still make sounds. ( )

The book is about different poems and situations in which all of the sounds and noises are specific to that poem. I really enjoyed this book and think that it should be accessible to all children. I think that they would be able to hear the noises and associate to the poems or even be able to create a poem on their own. This is a great concept that the author uses and I think that it works great with this book. Each page is a new story, with a new sound and feel.
