This is a brief introduction to Ralph Waldo Emerson for children. It is very well done, even though when I look at it, I think of Mr. Lincoln. There is nothing wrong with this book per se I just found it a tad bit boring. ( )

Intermediate. This book talks about the life of Ralph Waldo Emerson from when he was a boy, when he was in college, his writing career, when he got married and had a family, when their house burned down, when he decided to travel abroad, and finally when he returned home. He was famous for many writings and was an advocate for social reforms, and I personally had never heard of him before, so it may be good for your students to learn about him.

Biography about Ralph Waldo Emerson and his upbringing in Boston, dreams of life in the country while in college, and eventually moving to the country and writing books.

A bibliography about R.W. Emersons life. It quickly goes over his childhood in Boston and goes over key points about his life. The structure about this book is to highlight that he built his life around what he loved.
