I truly cannot say enough good things about this series. The worldbuilding is excellent, the dialogue and story put together perfectly.

The characterization is relatable, funny and intelligent. I am off to more books by Mr Abraham. I've already read his excellent Long Price Quartet and know there has to be other stuff out there.

The audiobook is highly recommended--the narrator really knows his stuff. (

the series takes an interesting turn as Clara, who once played the socialite wife of an aristocrat in this intriguing epic fantasy series, reshapes her life to play a deep-undercover spy. her thought processes in making this turn are quite interesting, and in Book Four of Five, this remaking allows for a significant rethinking of the differences between a war and a malign reshaping of the whole world. (

When I started this series, I thought it was four books long, and all four books were in existence. I am not certain how I got that impression since it is not true, and now I am stuck waiting for Book Five. Damn. Still imagining Geder as a Men's Rights Activist. (

Another great story

Awesome book. Great detail and always kept you wanting more. Can't wait for the next book. Could not have expected anymore.
