I don't care how many times I watch the movies based on Ms. Austen's stories, I will always keep and read the stories as they are more detailed if not too much and I can take my time and absorb the vocabulary, translate it in my own mind, understand the emotion and logic of the characters, visualize the settings minimally, but enjoy the happy endings as Ms. Austen leaves the aweful endings to other authors. The book is very heavy so use some support and take breaks to prevent wrist or arm injury flare ups as I do myself I must say,,, These would be good read along out louds for family with preteens. Love period stores. ( )

couldn't get into book at all. seemed too cheesy ( )
