Alexander is undeniably biased towards Sylvia in the conflict with her husband Ted Hughes which resulted in her tragic suicide. Certainly, Hughes' ingrained sexism was a contributing cause to her plight, but, given the times, how many men would have behaved differently towards her need to write? As for his infidelity, well, that's a whole 'nother issue. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
