I really enjoyed this book! This was a fun, bilingual retelling of a common fairytale. I especially love this book because it could help Spanish speaking students feel more included within the read aloud and help the other students learn some Spanish words. ( )

This twist on the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood turns the tables on the wolf. Little Roja, her mama, and her abuela demonstrate the girl power, intelligence, and family solidarity as they deal with the treacherous, capa stealing wolf. The book blends Spanish and English vocabulary to tell this much loved tale with the help of some modern upgrades. ( )

This is just a bilingual version of little red riding hood. This intended for ESL students or students who are trying to learn Spanish. I love this and the classic version I think it would be great for learning students. ( )

Just like the english version the story is the same. The pictures take up the whole page and are worth looking at. ( )

A rhyming retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, mostly in English but with plenty of Spanish words sprinkled throughout (there is a glossary in the front). In this version, there's no woodcutter or hunter; La Rubia saves her Abuela by herself, by throwing hot soup on the wolf, and then the two of them install a security system.
