Everyone is excited about the twins except for the big sister. She makes it seem like this is the worst thing that could ever happen to her in her life. She usually just sits back and watches her parents get overwhelmed instead of helping out. She misses all the attention she use to get before they came. Everyone can tell the little girl is jealous of her twin baby sisters. When someone else picks on the twins the big sister has to defend them (Only she is allowed to pick on them) and her whole attitude changes after this.At the end the big sister is overwhelmed of how much love she truly has for the twins. Growing up with siblings/twins could take a lot of getting used to and this is a great book to teach character development and theme. Even when people in your family aggravate you and annoy you, in the end you don't lose any love for them. ( )

One day in June I got twin sisters. They need two cribs, two chairs and two of everything. They take up all the space. At the beach one twin goes in one direction and the other goes in another direction, with nobody to watch me. One night the twins wake and dad bring them to their bed. Later on I climb into bed with them. I whisper good night to the twins.

I think this is a cute a really cute book that many children will be able to relate to. It is about a little girl and her twin siblings. A great read aloud book. ( )
