For young children who have enjoyed such bedtime books as Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site or Steam Train, Dream Train, Mighty Dads will be a welcome addition to the picture-book library. There's rhymes a-plenty to listen to, and lots of brightly colored construction vehicles at which to look, making this both a visual and auditory pleasure. I don't know that I found it all that appealing - I'm not really a construction-site enthusiast myself - but for the target audience it is sure to be a hit. ( )

The dad teaches the son how to be just like him. They are mini versions of them. This is a cute book to read to preschoolers around fathers day. ( )
