i have so many issues with the writing and the pacing and everything but i'm stilllllll reading so...... at least i'm having fun ( )

I didn't get a chance to read Book 1, but it was fairly easy to catch up on the plot and characters while reading Book 2.

It was quite steamy and explosive to say the least. It was an interesting journey into another world (S&M), where we are introduced to some techniques and get to understand that this is all about trust and power. This is definitely better than 50 Shades of Grey, where the characters have more depth and it's not random S&M related scenes inserted in without specific purposes (like training Mia how to be the perfect submissive).

Who knew it would take innocent yet feisty Mia to conquer Cameron's heart? And that 2 very handsome and eligible men would be competing for her affections and to be her Master? Definitely a lot of hot and steamy moments for your secret pleasure ;)

One issue I had was, if Mia trusts Richard so much, why does the revelation that Richard kept in regards to her father bother her so much? And that seeing him with another lady, when he clearly states that there is no one else but her (Mia), result in Mia jumping to needless conclusions and doubt Richard, but somewhat believes Cameron to go through with her training?! A bit conflicting and annoying how she constantly doubts Richard but trusts Cameron, especially when she likes/loves both of them.

Is this book perfect? No, but it's a very thrilling and exciting read, which does make up for it's minor flaws. Overall, I would love to read Book 1 and Book 3. ( )
