Full of emotion, charm, and compassion, Life of Love is a fresh new romance novel that will take you along on John and Sarah's journey as they travel down love's occasionally rocky path, overcoming the challenges their relationship brings, and ultimately discovering what it truly means to be loved. It was love at first sight for John Deane when he saw Sarah Miller at a bus stop. She left before he could talk to her, but the fates must have been smiling down on him because he saw her again at the wedding of his business partner. They danced, got to know each other and fell in love. Everything was going well and they were happy, despite John s mother s protestations about their relationship, until an accident renders John comatose. John and Sarah have been inseparable since they became a couple, so how will Sarah cope with the turn of events in her life.… (meer)

DNF--I tried, I just couldn't.

At first, I was really looking forward to reading this book, but a little over a chapter into and I feel like a huge chunk of a potential story was already breezed through. The writing was very cheesy, yet bland. Extremely formal and brief, for example, in the first chapter the two main characters almost met by chance on a bus, then end up attending the same wedding, to be awkwardly set up by the bride, enjoy a night of dancing and he says goodbye by shaking her hand. I repeat: SHAKING her hand. Not only did a lot happen in just one short chapter, but the shaking of the hand just proves how formal it was. If I spent a whole night dancing away with a guy, flirting and blushing, we better hug in goodbye or SOMETHING. Not end on a handshake like we just closed a business deal.

And he suddenly realized he hadn't asked for any of Sarah's contact information. No phone number. No address. Not even an email...And since fate had been so good to him already, he had a feeling he would certainly see Sarah Jane Miller again".

One paragraph into Chapter 2 and they already meet again, one paragraph! I just really felt that this one chapter (and a couple of paragraphs into Chapter 2) could have been stretched out, given more detail, more actual emotion, and have been so much more enjoyable.

Please note: I received a copy of this book for free from the author. ( )

"I don't want to force my mind to love someone else or adjust with someone whom I never can give my true love."

“Love is something that is beyond us. We can't anticipate love. When, where and with whom we fall in love is coincidental and wonderful for the same reason.”

“Sometimes I feel that it's our destiny. We met, liked each other and fell in love before we knew
it!”
