The author collected stories about dogs and then tied elements of those stories to Bible stories to create a sort of devotional format. I chose to read it as a book rather than as devotionals (where I usually read 1 or 2 at a time). Because of this, I began to feel that the book was rather long. I did enjoy the stories about various dogs (though I did also think that toward the end of the book, some of the stories were not as compelling as some of the earlier ones. (
