Unfortunately this book wasn't interesting enough to sustain my attention for very long. I finished about 1/3.

Hoping I'll pick it up again after I can finish the first book in the series.

Sex is hawt-ish.

I am strangely fascinated by this series. It's been a while since book one, and I am eagerly awaiting book three, but I really like all the different vampire effects in these novels. To me, this is a different sort of vampire series and I am enjoying it greatly. I feel like I liked this book better than the first and maybe it's because of the lack of fear in the female character from the beginning? Not sure. But I would definitely recommend this as one to check out.

I just couldn't get into this book. It could be my own fault since I didn't read the first one, but even if I had I don't think I would've liked it. There were just too many silly things in it (flying through solid objects, being in a cave for over a year and he doesn't even take a shower before he goes out clubbing?). I just couldn't read anymore cause frankly, I just didn't care.
