I was loving this series up until now. Eva has turned into a class A bitch IMO. I just hated how she uses distance to hurt/punish Gideon because he does everything to try to protect her from his enemies! UGH! I do think the writing is very good but there is SO much going on in this book. It just doesn't feel like they are in love as much as they were. Gideon is definitely infatuated but Eva is....well, just bitchy. Full Review on my blog! I reviewed this a while ago, but never got the chance to post it, so I guess I'll post it now. The fourth installment of the Crossfire series wasn’t perfect, but it was still an entertaining and enjoyable read for me. Gideon Cross. I can’t get enough of one of my favorite damaged men. The way he’s able to be completely alpha, powerful and domineering, yet also broken and scarred, he’s just one of my original favorites. Eva isn’t perfect. There have been times she’s annoyed me, got under my skin, but overall I do like her. I love how she’s just as crazy for Gideon as she is for him. He was complicated and sexy and damaged and perfect. The majority of this book is the couple adjusting to being a married couple. There is some drama with both of their ex’s, some drama with their friends, some drama with their jobs, and some family drama. But up till the end, not a ton of drama between them. Which I found refreshing. “You two are wackjobs separately, together, you’re a goddamn nut house.” I absolutely adore this couple, I've loved every part of their story so far. I recommend it! _________________________________ Bared to You | Review Reflected in You | Review Entwined with You | Review Captivated by You | Review One with You | Review soon Blog | Instagram | Twitter | Facebook Full Review on my blog!

"Gideon calls me his angel, but he's the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn't sure I was strong enough to bear. At the brightest time in our lives, the darkness of his past encroached and threatened everything we'd worked so hard for. We faced a terrible choice: the familiar safety of the lives we'd had before each other or the fight for a future that suddenly seemed an impossible and hopeless dream.."-- Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

Gideon and Eva's crazy love story picks up where we left them, together but on shaky ground. This one is focused more on Gideon and the lengths he will go to to keep Eva safe and with him. Gideon is the definition of "loving someone too much" and he knows he couldn't live without Eva. There's a ton of fighting and even more sex. Rough, gentle, kinky, sweet…..Eva and Gideon are constantly going at it. And I loved it.
