I Wonder Why Soap Makes Bubbles and Other Questions About Science by Barbara Taylor is a nonfiction book that addresses a lot of common scientific ponderings of young children. The contents page is organized by each question a person might have such as “what is science about, what do scientists do, what can walk on water, why are water droplets round” and so forth. There is a total of 31 kid friendly scientific questions addressed in this book. Each page in the book addresses these questions a few at a time. The answers are pretty limited and not totally child friendly. I would use this book to help my young scientists in my classroom be inspired to ask real questions that they actually have.
