Both authors are renowned in their field of self help psychology and metaphysics. I prefer the work of Dr. Dyer for its practical nature over that of Dr. Myss who focuses on archetypes derived from pagan Greek traditions. Having been a student of Jung's work, I find archetypes useful for psychoanalysis, but not necessarily in daily life. Better yet to analyze your own belief system and keep an open mind than to use a system that is outdated and tenuous at best. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Caroline Myss and Wayne Dyer have played key roles in the movement of people interested in awakening human potential. These two innovative leaders have helped tens of thousands of us access our innate abilities by teaching us how we create our own realities, for better or worse, and how to consciously direct human energy toward achieving goals. This live lecture is the result of the first collaboration between these two esteemed teachers-and they've joined together to bring you their knowledge and experience on the amazing interconnection between mind, body, and reality-showing how to work with this information to not only improve our daily lives, but to also reach our highest human potential. Dyer speaks of self development, particularly in moving beyond the ego and being open to spirit. One of his most profound statements is that there can be nothing on the list of things you are unwilling to do to achieve a goal. He also speaks knowledgably on focus and manifesting what you want. Myss speaks of living the symbolic life and being open to spirit. She includes aspects of her work on archetypes (Sacred Contracts) and self-esteem. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
