This was an interesting collection of short stories. Each in its own way more disturbing than the last. If you're into twisted writing, this is a book for you!

Black Cat Mojo is a collection of crazy short stories and I enjoyed them all. The stories are way out there and I kept asking myself "what was this guy smoking" when he came up with each one of them. I think my favorite was "of Badgers and Porn Dwarfs" as Adam Howe painted an excellent picture of the main character, Rummy, a down on his luck dwarf ex porn star. Rummy is a guy you just can't help but feel sorry for and when you don't think things can get any worse for him, they do, and in unbelievable ways. All the stories were entertaining and weren't your main stream, predictable, story lines. I would pick up another Adam Howe book, just to see where his imagination takes him next. ( )

Ein gutes und kurzweiliges Buch mit skurrilen Geschichten, die sich durch die ein oder andere unerwartete Wendung auszeichnen. Was mir persönlich gut gefällt sind die offenen Enden, die Raum für die Phantasie (oder Fortsetzungen) lassen. Durch die Unterschiedlichkeiten der Geschichten ist hier für jeden etwas dabei. ( )

This book had me laughing, and shaking my head in amazement. Adam Howe's voice is unique, his writing is fluid and detailed and he obviously has a very creative imagination.

You start the novellas and as you go along you are jerked from one thing to another (in a pleasant way) and when you get to the end you wonder the hell you got there in the first place. ( )
