I did not like this book, it was like a procedural step by step of how a girl becomes a woman in the Apache culture. This read is not suited for children because it is strictly informational and offers little to hold their attention. This book may possibly be used as a research tool for an assignment. The main idea of the book is to explain the process to which an Apache girl becomes a woman and understands the expectations upon her. ( ) This book was very informational of the traditions on the women of the Apache indians. It told of the different things that a woman would go through when coming of age. All traditions were based on the Changing Woman. In a classroom, I would use this to teach my children on different cultures of different people. Maybe have a project based on this book. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
