Throughout the book are pictures that children can relate to. On one page is a job chart, which shows that each child has a different job in the classroom for the day. There are "Rosie Tips" throughout the pages that are educational for children. One example is a picture of Rosie eating lunch with her classmates, and the tip says "Ask your teacher for help if you can't open your lunch box or if you spill your drink." The tips throughout the book are great tips to read aloud to children and show them that rules are expected in every school. Rosie's not worried about her first day of preschool. In fact, she'll tell you all about it! Happy, simple, and multicultural - this is a classic Karen Katz book. http://shelf-employed.blogspot.com geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

This book is all about preschool. This is a story about everything that happens in a day at preschool. It walks you through drop off, play time, reading time, snack time, rest time and pick up time.
This would be a good book to read to preschoolers who love a schedule. This might be a good way to help them remember the things that they will do in a day. ( )
