I am a sucker for these books that bring out how the political elite/classes/establishment work/exist. I am on the fringes in that I am active in shaping some aspects of social policy so see and talk with these people at meetings. As a poor working class man/(sadly now only true as the roots of personal myths) I am very aware of the "us" "non-us" codes that these elites use often without knowing. Never believe the middle class who complains they are poor and the upper class who says no influence or status. ( )
