In my reviews, I have frequently commented on my lack of enthusiasm for series novels. I am happy to say The Everything Box is a great exception. I'm very much looking forward to reading the next (and so far only other one) in the series. Everyone who enjoyed Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman will almost certainly enjoy this book. I thought this book was okay times, but suffered from too many characters and too much chaos. I like his Sandman Slim series much better, perhaps because I understand the characters better and edgier. The comparisons to Christopher Moore's humor should have been taken more seriously, at least by me. Thank goodness, a new Sandman Slim book, The Perdition Score, is coming soon. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
